Daily collection loan software
Daily collection loan software handles loans repaid in small daily instalments, where an agent visits each borrower, collects cash, and hands it to the owner at the end of the day. It needs three things a monthly-EMI tool does not: a daily repayment schedule generated automatically, a field-collection workflow where the owner approves what each agent submits before it becomes a ledger entry, and offline recording for agents working where mobile data does not reach. MicroByz does all three, for ₹6,999 per year per lending business.

Why daily-finance lending breaks ordinary loan software
The daily-finance model — common across small lending businesses in India — multiplies every bookkeeping problem by the number of days in the tenure. A ₹10,000 loan repaid over 100 days is one hundred separate transactions, each of which has to land against the right borrower, on the right date, with the right balance left over. A hundred loans running at once is ten thousand entries a quarter. Most general loan tools assume a monthly EMI, so the daily cycle gets modelled as a workaround, and the workaround is where the errors accumulate.
The second problem is structural rather than arithmetic. The owner is not the person collecting the money. Cash passes from borrower to agent to owner, and the book has to survive that handover. Software that simply lets an agent mark a loan "paid" gives away the control the owner needs.
How does the collection-agent approval workflow work?
- Assign. The owner assigns loans to an agent, who sees only their own round for the day.
- Collect. The agent records each collection on their phone as they take the cash. Entries are stored on the device, so no signal is required.
- Submit. The day's collections sync and arrive for the owner as pending — visible, but not yet part of the books.
- Approve or reject. The owner checks the submission against the cash handed over and approves or rejects each entry. Only approval creates a ledger entry and moves the loan's balance.
- Reconcile. The cashbook closes for the day against what was actually received, not what was claimed.
Every step is recorded with the user and the timestamp, so a dispute weeks later can be traced rather than argued.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. The MicroByz field app is offline-first by design, not as a fallback. Collections recorded without a signal are written to the phone immediately and queued; when the connection returns, the queue is sent in order. An entry created offline keeps its place in the sequence, so the day reconstructs in the order it happened. Agents never wait on a loading spinner in front of a borrower.
What reports does a daily lender actually need?
| Question | Where MicroByz answers it |
|---|---|
| What was collected today, and by whom? | Daily collection summary, by agent |
| Which borrowers were missed on the round? | Agent's daily round, showing uncollected loans |
| How much cash should be in hand right now? | Daily cashbook with opening and closing balance |
| Which loans are falling behind? | Overdue amount per loan, updated on every repayment |
| Did the business make money this month? | Monthly profit-and-loss, interest separated from principal |
| What do I owe on the money I borrowed to lend? | Capital and funding register |
Can I run daily and monthly loans in the same business?
Yes. Collection cycle is set per loan plan, so daily and monthly loans sit side by side in one book and appear together in the cashbook and the profit-and-loss statement. Lenders who run a daily book for small-ticket borrowers and monthly loans for larger ones do not need two systems.
